At exactly 8:59:30 PM, team Epic rolled into the Walmart parking lot, precisely 30 seconds early. Over an approximately 36 hour trip, this comes out to a .0231% error in planning the timeline of the trip. Not shabby. With the goal of their trip accomplished, the team now seeks a hotel near Portland in which to spend the night.

  2. Hey, what kind of lens is Mark using? Specifically his wide angle one?

  3. Yeah, a safe trip thus far!! (I was a little concerned about the member falling on a sharp
stump for graphic effect-Ian or Nathan?-)Love the scenic pics. Who is that long haired hippie looking guy in the personal pics? Your topics of discussion are interesting, please note insightful comments. Consider adding, "How to honor your mom and dad." :) Enjoy your adventure for me . . . wish I could see/do "most" things you're experiencing.Love, momNail

  4. During an interview with this "Mark" you speak of (he is known to Team EPIC as "Team Member B"), it was determined that he primarily uses a Canon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens (a.k.a. the kit lens) for all his landscape material. Other lenses include a Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO DG and a Canon 85mm f/1.8 USM. These, however, are not well suited to landscape pictures, which are most commonly encountered on a trip such as this.
